Altec Lansing Active Noise Reduction Headphone

AHP-712

Just in time for the Holidays!

Before I started with personal computers some 20 years ago, I was an audiophile. Hi-fi audio was my main technology back then. The convergence between high-tech audio and personal computing has been long awaited. Headphones are a personal item, similar to eyeglasses and big name apparel. If it doesn’t look good, then the style-conscious consumer will not buy it. You either like it or you don’t. Style is always important when purchasing headphones; however, the ultimate clincher is the sound quality. Altec Lansing has always made the finest speakers known to man. They deliver clean, crisp audio all the time in style. Even a novice can hear the difference.

The Altec Lansing AHP-712 headphones will deliver quality Sound in Noisy Environments!

The splendid sounding Altec Lansing AHP712 headphones come with a built in Active Noise Reduction filtration circuit. This is ideal for people on the go, especially in noisy environments. The AHP712 includes a multi-function in-line controller that lets the user adjust the volume as well as turn the ANR feature on or off. Active Noise Reduction (ANR) works by using a small built-in ear cup microphone that senses ambient sounds and transmits them to a built-in circuit that delivers an out-of-phase sound to virtually eliminate annoyances such as traffic noise.

The headphones also come with two 1/4-inch (airline-compatible) adapter plugs, a protective carrying bag with a soft inner lining including an accessory pouch, and two detachable signal cables: a 6.5-foot cable for office or dorm use and a 1.5-foot cable that minimizes tangles in airline seats. When you detach the cables, the AHP712 becomes a powerful stand-alone solution for blocking unwanted outside sound. The headphones are great for games, music, movies, MP3 Players and more.
