iHateSpam installs directly into your email program, running quietly in the background. The program uses a Spam analysis system to determine if a message is Spam or not. Filtering out junk email quickly. The program uses its own list of known spammers and known Spam phrases to determine what Spam is and what is not.

The anti Spam list is updated automatically in virtually all environments, including behind corporate firewalls. Similar to an anti-virus list. When Spam is sent to your e-mail address it is Quarantined and sent directly to a Spam folders, where you can review or just delete. You set the parameters allowing you to even bounce the junk mail back to the sender. Now what’s better than that. You can also adjust the threshold levels The higher the threshold level, the more aggressive the program will be in its Spam detection.

You create your own friends list which is exempt from being deleted. The program can be configured to issue an alert when Spam is intercepted, or simply work unobtrusively in the background. Along with the list of friends you can create a block list of people you don’t want to hear from any longer.

The product is very simple and easy to and powerful enough to get the job done. All you need to do is install the program and you’re done. No need to mess with configurations or anything else. Other Anti Spam products on the market change POP mail configurations causing all kinds of problem. Especially for the non Technical user.
